File Retrieval: How about retrieving your standard report template with one click rather than going into nested folders on your Mac or on your network. I do this using Keyboard Maestro. Using Keyboard Maestro, keyboard shortcuts can be set up to retrieve any type of file, wherever it is on your system. All you need is to set up a shortcut using just two or three keystrokes.
Signatures: I use a two-character key combination whenever I need to add my signature to a Word document. KBM goes into my folder structure and immediately finds the Word file with my signature. It opens it before automatically copying the signature for me to paste into the appropriate Word document. It works exactly the same if I simply need to add my initials to a document.
